Stroll along the riverbanks and waterfalls of the beautiful Aker River. You will learn about the development along the river from the reformation in 1537 to the industrialization of Kristiania.

The walk start at the Anker Bridge, also called the Fairytale Bridge.

If you are in Oslo around autumnal equinox, you might participate in the charming walk along the Aker River. Every year, the river will be lit up by torches, instead of electric light.
This year the walk will be on thursday the 25.th of September, starting at 20 PM.
