If you are in Oslo around autumnal equinox, you might participate in the charming walk along the Aker River. Every year, the river will be lit up by torches, instead of electric light.
This year the walk will be on thursday the 25.th of September, starting at 20 PM.
Follow the river downstream toward the city center. Feel the atmosphere and enjoy!

How to get to the Aker River

The audioguided walk starts at the Anker Bridge,
also called the Fairytale Bridge.

If you start from Oslo Central Station, you can take bus number 34 towards Tåsen and go off at the Jacobs Church.
You will see the Fairytale Bridge from the church.
